Dec 30 Weekly Announcements

Your Generosity is Touching Lives

Thank you for the way you responded to MCC's Christmastime initiatives.  We set a new record for "Operation Christmas Child," emptied multiple "Angel Trees" of their ornaments for needy children, supported our Thailand mission through the purchase of handmade purses, supplied a record number of homeless persons with hand-knitted scarves, then topped it all off with a Christmas eve offering for "Oma Village" that exceeded $8,100.
Well done, Marin Covenant! The love and concerns of Christ are being felt through your faithful generosity.

End of Year Financial Update

Continued thanks to all of you who so generously have a plan to give to the church you love.  We love the word "Plan" because when you plan to give, we can plan our Kingdom investments in the most strategic way.  We are halfway through our fiscal year and right on target to fulfill our ministry commitments.  But as with any church or non-profit, December giving is an important part of our revenue cycle.  With your ongoing generosity not only will we be able to meet all of our ministry goals for this year, but it will greatly inform next year's vision, strategy, and ministry spending plan. Thanks for being part of this adventure called Marin Covenant Church!

A practical consideration:  If you have plans to make a year-end gift, don't forget that for 2016 tax purposes all donations must be postmarked or transacted by Dec. 31.  (Are you set up to give online and/or automatically?  Here is the easy-peasy, handy-dandy link to give electronically.)
