2017 Summer Family Mexico Mission Trip

July 30th - August 4th -  Pastor Art will be leading a group to La Mision, Baja California, partnering with Be2live Ministries for a week long family mission experience.  For those with any questions or interest in going, online info and registration can be found at Be2live.org . For more information contact Bob Hess or Art Greco or see the table in the lobby. Registration deadline is May 30th.

 

Promotion Sunday and Senior Sunday is coming!

June 4th, 9am & 10:45 am gatherings - This is the day kids will move up to their new classes, reflecting which grade they will start in the Fall. If your kids are not in school yet they will be in classes by age as follows:
- Nursery: birth-2 years, Preschool: 2 - 3 years, and PreK: 4- 5 years (not entering Kindergarten in the Fall).
- Kids starting 6th grade will sit with their family (or other students in the front right-hand-side of the Worship Center) in big church on June 4th. See below for the Sunday School Schedule.
- We will be celebrating the Senior class of 2017 during both services on June 4th! All Middle School and High School students are encouraged to attend a gathering.

Middle and High School 9 am gathering, Sunday School schedule:
- 1st Sunday of every month - big church (sit with other students or your family)
- All other Sundays of the month - Sunday School


Annual Business Meeting

June 11th @ 1pm - MCC's annual business meeting will be held.   The meeting will start with a congregational lunch right after the second gathering and should conclude by 2:30 p.m.  Please plan to attend as we will have much to give thanks for and more to discuss as we continue to seek God's heart and plan for MCC. The agenda will include:
- A time for corporate prayer.
- A financial report by the Financial Officer.
- A vote on the nominations for the Leadership Team and other ministry leaders.
- A vote on the Leadership Teams proposed ministry budget for the next year. (advance copy available next 2 Sundays at the Have We Met table).
- A ministry report from the Lead Pastor Team.
- An opportunity for you to ask questions of the Leadership Team and Pastoral staff.  

 

Maker Fun Factory VBS : Created By God, Built For A Purpose!

June 19th -22nd, 9:00am - Noon - At Maker Fun Factory curious kids become hands-on inventors who discover they're lovingly crafted by God! Maker Fun Factory is buzzing with excitement, incredible Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! A New Women's Early Morning Small Group

Beginning May 25th, Thursday mornings, 6:15 - 7:30 am - If you desire … connection . prayer partners . to learn more about the Bible . intimacy with God. And are a woman who is … an early riser . working out of the home . mom who has the early morning covered . retired.....There is a new offering for YOU. Celebrate Recovery Marin - Women's Step Study

Beginning May 25th, every other Thursday, RNPI room, 7 - 8.30pm. We will be using the Step Study booklets "The Journey Begins" from Celebrate Recovery. These booklets will be available for purchase at the "Have We Met Table" and at the Step Study itself. Through this study and within the community formed by the participants who undertake the journey together, individuals will learn to overcome their hurts, habits, and hang ups by relying on their Higher Power, Jesus Christ.  The Step Study will take place over the course of the coming year.
