Tim is Director of Family Forum Japan – an organization that uses family issues as a medium for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ around Japan, through publications, radio, the internet, and seminars and lectures. Apart from administrative functions, Tim does a lot of teaching and writing.

Katie is coordinating outreach to international high school students who come from all over the world to attend the International School of Asia in Karuizawa (ISAK). This involves a weekly Bible study, planning outreach activities, and discipline and counseling students.

Tim and Katie together coordinate community outreach activities in the town of Karuizawa, largely centered around the Karuizawa Union Church, a historic church built-in 1906.Together they also assist in the ministry of two local churches (outside Karuizawa) Shinshu Community Church in the neighboring town, and Iiyama Bible Center about 90 minutes to the northwest, and a church we helped start back in the 1990s.
