Sunday, Sep 23 At 9am - The Explorer's course is a highly informative and fun way to get better acquainted with our church, its beliefs, history, denomination and ministries. It is the most comprehensive orientation experience we offer. It is designed for new-comers and MCC veterans alike. We would love everyone at MCC to have gone through this course. Pastor Ben is going on Sabbatical.
This is Pastor Ben: I wanted to drop a quick little not to tell you how thankful I am for you. I think we have one of the most incredible churches ever and it is such an honor to serve you as one of the pastors. I am beyond humbled and grateful that our church cares for its pastors in such a way that includes sabbaticals after 7 years. And as I enter my 14th year, I get to take this time to do some intentional spiritual and professional development. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me and then for us in this time of development and reflection. I will be committed to pray for you, and would ask that you pray for me as well. I am going to miss you like crazy! Blessings!
Saturday, September 29, 9:00-2:00pm - Looking for an outreach for you and your family? Love missions, but don’t have time to travel?
We host an incredible outreach which is a perfect onramp for you, your family and friends to engage in urban ministry. We will host a huge kid’s party for the children of the Tenderloin with games and activities (fun for all ages) as well as a Women’s ministry and pampering offering nails, hair, makeup and massage. We’ll also be preparing meals and delivering them to residents of the Tenderloin, participate in an “Outdoor Cafe” serving coffee and pastries, making conversation and praying with folks.
This is the largest outreach from Marin to the Tenderloin and it is a great way to build bridges between Marin and San Francisco. To register, sign up in the lobby on Sunday or email Gina.

You can CLICK HERE to see an up close list of all the groups we've got going this Fall. Keep checking our groups page on the website as well! Our Fall information is being updated daily.
Join us Saturday, Sep 22 from 3:00-5:00pm in the lobby at MCC for food, friendship, and worship. We will enjoy the great hymns of the faith. Bring a potluck dish to share, if you are able.
Starting THIS Tuesday September 18th at 7:30pm - Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. We'll eat dinner together at the Bredow's house and watch a short video. Each session looks at a different question that people may have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It's an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life's big questions together.
Everyone is welcome, but Alpha is specifically designed for people who would not describe themselves as Christians or church-goers. There is no cost to attend. Email the Bredow Family at Bredow@185vfx.com to rsvp or ask questions.
